Welcome tO ace activities

ACE Activities offers a full range of activity and training programmes for adults with Learning disabilities, Autism and Anxiety disorders. Want to learn a new skill? Meet new like-minded people? At ACE we are here to support those wanting to achieve, connect and enjoy new experiences and skills. If you are are adult with a learning disability or a support worker looking for extra curricular activities for your service user, we are here to help.
We are glad to say that all of our activities are back up and running after intermittent periods of lockdowns. Not only that but we have expanded our upcycling project and now have services in Stapleford Abbots in addition to the one in Epping!
We also have a new catering project in the pipe line, please call for further details!
ASDAN accredited courses available from April.

ACE Activities is coordinated by Voluntary Action Epping Forest (VAEF) as an approved provider for Essex County Council. We are currently working with a number of partners such as Grange Farm Trust and Epping Forest Re-Use to provide a variety of activities for those with learning disabilities in the Epping, Essex area. To see what activities and training programmes are available, visit the 'Activities & Training' section of our website.

We are always on the look out for people to join our team. If you would like to offer a helping hand and find out more about our volunteering roles available, visit the 'Get Involved' section of our website.

"I really enjoy learning how to make things at upcycling. I have made planters, benches, tables and much more.  I like working with Tim who volunteers at the project and seeing all my friends."

kind words from an ace parent

"My son is autistic and attends ACE Activities for people with learning disabilities. ACE Activities is an invaluable service that enables my son to join in with the working volunteering projects and weekly run social activity sessions.

This service has made such a difference to my son's quality of life, he is able to work as part of a team which has helped with his confidence and self worth. He is encouraged to learn new skills, try new activities and to socially interact with other people in our local community. These opportunities and life experiences have helped him achieve many new goals in his life. I am very grateful to ACE Activities for all the fabulous work that they do, they are always kind, caring, patient and encouraging and they always treat their members of ACE Activities with the upmost respect and in return the members flourish in all that they do."
